Nebraska 101

Shirley Lange of Cook, Minnesota and Valeinna Takisang of Lincoln recently won Nebraska vacation packages playing the $2 Nebraska 101 Scratch game.

Lange purchased her winning Nebraska 101 ticket at Loaf ‘N Jug, 2015 10^th Street in Gering. She has selected the Big Apple vacation package, which includes four passes to AppleJack festivities in Nebraska City, four museum passes for all Nebraska City museums and the Tree Adventure at Arbor Day Farm, a visit to Kimmel Orchard with wine tasting for two and a bag of apples to take home, three nights of lodging for four people at Whispering Pines bed and breakfast, and gift cards for restaurants and shops in Nebraska City.

Valeinna Takisang

Takisang, who works at the U-Stop, 3280 Superior Street in Lincoln, received her winning Nebraska 101 ticket while attending a Nebraska Lottery retailer training event. She has selected the Girls’ Day Away package, which includes private limousine service for 12 hours for four people in Omaha, two $100 gift cards for shopping at Shadow Lake Towne Center and Village Pointe Shopping Center, a $60 gift card to the Nebraska Brewing Company at Shadow Lake Towne Center, a $100 gift card to Kona Grill at the Village Pointe Shopping Center, four $125 gift certificates for spa services at Garbo’s Salon and Spa at the Village Pointe Shopping Center, and two double-occupancy rooms for one night at the Magnolia Hotel in Omaha.

The Nebraska 101 Scratch game is a partnership between the Nebraska Lottery and the Nebraska Division of Travel & Tourism. Nebraska 101 features three $10,000 top prizes and six Nebraska vacation prizes. Each vacation winner can choose a trip from a menu of 11 vacation packages provided by the Division of Travel & Tourism. The Nebraska Lottery will provide an additional $750 cash payment to each winner for trip expenses. The odds of winning the Nebraska trip prize in Nebraska 101 are 1 in 80,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.50.
